A new platform for sharing what's been happening in Kindy  is  COMING TO OLC. 

We welcome the Seesaw  family app.

Seesaw is a great digital platform for parents to see the learning given to you by your classroom teacher in the form of messages,work samples and photos. You can access the information through your phone. 

Parents will receive their child's learning code by a hard copy.

Then you  scan the QR code to access your child's individual learning journal.  I also highly recommend you click 'yes' to the notifications prompt as then you will be sent a reminder each time there is something new uploaded. I am hoping to try to share something at least each week or fortnightly to show the great learning that is happening in our classrooms. This sometimes cannot always happen during a busy Kindy week. 

1:Go to  seesaw website https://web.seesaw.me/ or install the seesaw family app for IOS or Android

2:  Choose create family account

SCAN CODE 

Create Account with a password

Then you can go to their Journal

You know where I am if you have any queries all we can go through the app during gathering time in the coming weeks.

Seesaw comes to OLC and Kindy:

Your child will bring home an invitation this week to connect with the Kindy classroom via the Seesaw App. Please follow the prompts carefully to set your account. Seesaw is an App that I'm sure many of you are already familiar with from our stint with online learning last year but basically it is a platform that allows you to see some of the great work that your child is doing in the classroom. Please make sure that it is the Seesaw family app, not the Seesaw Class App.  

Please note that this will be used purely as a means for you to keep up to date with your child's learning. Any communication with myself will stay as per usual.
