Excursion Kindy Blue

 What a great day the Kindies had exploring the Cape Naturaliste lighthouse area. The children enjoyed learning about the season Djilba and participating in many Wadandi traditions with our local custodian, Josh Whiteland.

Father's day dates

Father’s/Pop Day in Kindy

 

Dear Parents (especially our Dads and Pops),

Father’s Day is on Sunday the 5^th of September this year.

Kindy would love to have a special Fathers’ Day morning.  Both Dads or Pops are invited to come and share this day with us. Everyone can wear their favourite sports colours/jerseys to school.

The children have a few songs to sing to their Dads/Pops.  

Then we will be rotating through some sport activities:

·       Kicking the footy on the grass and shooting some basketball hoops.

·       Golf

·      
Building in construction area or sandpit

·       Craft- making superhero masks.

·       Hammering station

·       Funky photo booth  

·       Superhero gladiator station

·       Olympic sack race.

·       Obstacle course competition.

After the activity rotations have finished, the Dads are welcome to kick back and enjoy a cold drink and some hot party pies.

 

DAY:   Tuesday the 7th of September for Kindy Blue 

           Wednesday the 8th of September for Kindy Red (Week 8)

TIME: 9.00- 10.30am  

BRING: Children can wear their favourite footy/sport Jersey or colours.

 

Please let me know if you can attend. I know lots of Dad’s are busy and many work away. If this is the case Mum, a friend or Pop can come in instead on this day.

Looking at make-believe is a magical time in Kindy. To finish off our fairy tale theme we will be having a dress-up day on Wednesday the 25th of August. The children can come dressed as a pirate/prince/knight or princess.

  Kindy Blue were fortunate enough to have Jack's Gramps come in to teach us all about the accordion. The children enjoyed every minute of so thank you to the Armstrong family for making this a memorable morning.
